The Shippers Group Associates Bring Awareness to Men's Health During the Month of November

Posted by Robin Siekerman on Nov 27, 2019

This month, many associates from The Shippers Group participated in "No Shave November," as well as the "Movember" movement.

According to No Shave November's website, "the goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free." The campaign encourages men to donate the money they would typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

Additionally, the Movember movement is "an annual event involving the growing of mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancertesticular cancer, anxiety and men's suicide." The goal of Movember is to change the face of men's health.
