Administrative Professionals Day is celebrated each year on April 21st with the purpose of shedding light on the devoted and valued work of Administrative Professionals. Administrative roles are incredibly diverse and these professionals often go above and beyond their regular duties.
On this special day, we would like to give recognition and a huge thanks to our Office Managers, who not only ensure our offices run smoothly, but who also manage our successful teams of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Shipping Clerks.
Elsa Hernandez, Grand Lakes 1
Elsa has been with The Shippers Group for 12 years. Her previous roles at TSG include Receptionist and CSR Lead. As the Office Manager at our Grand Lakes 1 facility in Grand Prairie, TX, Elsa manages both our office and her team of seven CSRs.
Cathy Blondell, Jonesboro
Cathy has been with The Shippers Group for 21 years. Her previous roles at TSG include Coordinator, Lead CSR, Supervisor, and Office Manager for our packaging operation. As the Office Manager at our Jonesboro, GA Public facility, Cathy manages both our office and her team of six CSRs and two Shipping Clerks.
Angela Mitchell, Jonesboro Packaging
Angela has been with The Shippers Group for over six years. Her previous roles include Shipping & Receiving Clerk, Inventory, and Lead CSR. As the Office Manager at our Jonesboro, GA Packaging facility, Angela manages both our office and her team of seven CSRs.
Cecilia Becerra, Wilmer 1
Cecelia has been with The Shippers Group for six years. Her previous roles include CSR and Office Lead. As the Office Manager for our Wilmer, TX facility, Cecelia manages our office, five CSRs, and six Shipping Clerks.
Laura Monks, Wintergreen 1
Laura has been with The Shippers Group for 11 years. Her previous roles include CSR and CSR Lead. As the Office Manager for our Wintergreen 1 facility in TX, Laura manages both the office and her team of nine CSRs.
Carina Urquiza, Wintergreen 2
Carina has been with The Shippers Group for over 10 years. Her previous roles include Receptionist and CSR. As the Office Manager for our Wintergreen 2 facility in TX, Carina manages our office and her team of four CSRs and three Shipping Clerks.
Our Office Managers are the glue for the office and the team they support – tackling new challenges and guiding change. Especially through the pandemic, these individuals exhibited grace under the pressure while helping our associates stay connected, engaged, and productive. We are so grateful for the support you provide to both our customers and to our company!
