Good Afternoon,
The President of the United States issued a National Emergency today. Prior to this announcement The Shippers group was working with the guidance of the CDC to insure all workers, guests and customer products were safeguarded against potential harm.
The Shippers Group is taking the extreme measure of stopping potential health and safety hazards unto our company property. Your business has been identified as potentially be affected by this measure. Here are the circumstances on which we may deny access to our property:
- Individual self identifies as having been out of the country over the last 14 days. (This applies to any country not the USA)
- Individual self identifies as not feeling well or having flu like symptoms.
- Individuals who do not have an appointment with anyone on property. (This is regardless if previous visits have occurred)
The guard stations and/or office clerk will politely ask the individual to call their contact at the site or their employer (in the case this is a transportation situation) for future directions. Please note however if the first two items are responded to as YES, this individual will not be allowed on property under any circumstance.
Drivers will also be asked to remain in their trucks until their loads are ready. They will have limited access to the driver lounges and restrooms. This may cause wait times, however our teams will work as exponentially as possible to expedite the process.
