The Shippers Group Customer Experience

In his 18 months of leadership as The Shippers Group President, Rob Doyle has introduced several changes focusing on initiatives that are meant to improve the overall customer experience. Attention is in the areas of procedures, training, internal auditing and continuous improvement as we look to perfect our processes to ensure a high level of quality in our service offerings. At The Shippers Group, we know consumers’ satisfaction with our customers’ products is a direct outcome of our ability to provide the ultimate supply chain experience for our customers. The Shippers Group helps our customers achieve on-time and accurate deliveries to consumers in the markets served by our customers.

Additionally, Doyle has recently acquired diverse talent to augment the Executive Committee. The group is responsible for strategic planning and defining operational enhancements that advance initiatives focused on process control, compliance, accountability and metrics management. Operations teams are incorporating new standards in Customer Service and on the warehouse floor. Additionally, the Sales and Marketing team is identifying and responding to customer’s greatest needs in the areas of e-commerce and contract packaging. The Shippers Group offers companies a completely outsourced model for contract packaging with services that include kitting, display assembly, materials sourcing and equipment. Furthermore IT enhancements at The Shippers Group are keeping pace with the need for speed and accuracy in direct-to-consumer models for e-commerce fulfillment. 

All of this is just a short list of substantial developments aiding The Shippers Group to achieve unprecedented growth in 2018. In a recent conversation where Rob reflected on recent changes and described his vision of The Shippers Group for the future, he commented, “As we focus on our continuous improvement efforts, our goal is to exceed our customer’s expectations and hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality and customer service where we are truly and verifiably an industry leader in this area.”
