Kenco, a leading North American third-party logistics company, proudly announces the acquisition of The Shippers Group, a Dallas-based third-party warehousing company. This strategic partnership adds to Kenco’s capabilities by providing increased capacity, broader geographic reach, and an expanded suite of services for the benefit of customers. Terms of the acquisition are not being disclosed.

At the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA)'s annual conference in Orlando, The Shippers Group's very own Vice President of Marketing and Customer Solutions, Robin Siekerman was awarded with the prestigious Marketing Mountain Mover of the Year award.

The Shippers Group, a leading national provider of 3PL warehousing, contract packaging, ecommerce, and transportation services, announced today that Graham Swank has been named Chief Executive Officer by The Shippers Group’s Board of Directors. The CEO position has been vacant since the untimely death of Ken Johnson last October. 

With profound sadness and shock, The Shippers Group announces that Ken Johnson, Owner and CEO, passed away on October 14th. Ken’s sudden death is the result of unexpected complications following a recent illness. The entire Shippers Group family mourns his loss, and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Ken’s family during this very difficult time.
