This month, many associates from The Shippers Group participated in "No Shave November," as well as the "Movember" movement.
According to No Shave November's website, "the goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free." The campaign encourages men to donate the money they would typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
Additionally, the Movember movement is "an annual event involving the growing of mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, anxiety and men's suicide." The goal of Movember is to change the face of men's health.
Associates from the Jonesboro Contract Packaging Operation show off their No Shave November look as they pose for a group photo outside the facility.
We are grateful for all of the associates who participated in this company-wide event, creating awareness and bringing light to men's health issues that affect us all.
