In 2017 we set out to establish a recognition program to showcase our standout performers. What we found is that we are a company with an abundance of Star Players!

Since we began this program, we have received hundreds of nominations, but only 12 per region are selected. I want to personally thank all nominees and our winners in 2019.

Each month, The Shippers Group chooses one outstanding individual from each region to be selected as our Associate of the Month. These individuals are nominated by their coworkers, who see them go above and beyond every day. In addition to the title, the winners receive: a Certificate and Award Guide, 8 hours of PTO, custom TSG shirt, a banner display, and a luncheon for their location to celebrate the event.

For the past 45 years, Nancy Landers has tirelessly dedicated her talent and skills to oversee the Information Technology needs of The Shippers Group helping grow the company into a leading national 3PL distribution provider. Her dedication and work ethic are unsurpassed. So much so that The Shippers Group has named our Associate of the Year award the Nancy Landers Associate of the Year Award. 

Nancy has led the development of The Shippers Group's IT infrastructure since its inception. Her vision has enabled The Shippers Group to keep pace with changing technologies and quickly implement systems upgrades in response to our customers' ever changing needs for systems driven warehouse efficiency, inventory control, order processing, accounting and data.

Wilmer associates surprised Glenda Cokes when they recently nominated Glenda to receive the WOW award. Glenda was elated to be recognized by her co-workers.  Given Glenda’s great attitude and respect for her Wilmer family, it’s really no surprise that associates at Wilmer would acknowledge Glenda’s dedication to make everyday a great day at The Shippers Group.
