The International Warehouse Logistics Association has recognized Rob Doyle for his completion of the Executive Warehouse Logistics Profession requirements and earned his EWLP designation. By completing the requirements for EWLP, Rob has shown his commitment to furthering his education in the warehouse logistics industry. Rob has not only expanded his own personal career goals, but has also gained knowledge that will be beneficial to the success of The Shippers Group and the health of the warehouse logistics industry in general. 

VP of Marketing Robin Siekerman, Director of Customer Service Kris Hill and Director of Transportation Management Laina Grimland represented The Shippers Group at the 64^th Annual Food Shippers of America Conference in sunny Palm Desert California. The Conference Agenda was packed with opportunities for food manufacturers and distributors and logistics providers to network and discover ways to improve and enhance their supply chain performance. Among the approximately 1150 attendees at FSA were representatives of The Shippers Group who met with customers and future customers from the food industry at various events throughout the three day conference. Headlining this year’s conference was the legendary Archy Manning who gave an inspirational message of motivation and resilience in the face of adversity, and astronaut Jim Lovell who shared amazing facts regarding the heroic team effort of the astronauts on board and Mission Control in Houston to return the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission back to earth after the mission suffered a critical failure en route to the moon.

The Shippers Group will join primary shippers and receivers of food and related products on March 2-5 at one of the food industry’s most popular events, the Annual Food Shippers of America Conference. This year the conference is located in Palm Desert, California.

2019 is ringing in strong with the addition of new facilities within The Shippers Group’s nationwide network of contract and multi-client distribution operations. As a result of this growth, TSG is happy to announce the creation of new positions and opportunities to promote from within the company. With the start-up of a new distribution center in Richmond, Virginia scheduled for the second quarter, The Shippers Group announces Mike Mora is promoted to Director of Bissell Operations. 

The Shippers Group is proud to announce the promotion of Trey Muggley to Director of Dallas Operations. In his new role, Trey will oversee operations of two multi-client distribution facilities in Dallas, Texas.
