Tara Bryan joins The Shippers Group as General Manager at the Jonesboro, Georgia multi-client facility. Tara brings 20 plus years of experience in the 3PL industry having previously held various leadership roles with companies such as Exel Logistics, Kuehne & Nagel, Kane is Able and NFI. Tara has managed public and contract operations in both the 3PL and 4PL environment. She is effective training and motivating employees to drive productivity improvements to target and achieve efficiency in all aspects of distribution operations such as receiving, storage, and value add services.

In response to substantial growth in Atlanta, The Shippers Group has added key positions to oversee expanding operations. Kristie Jeng has joined The Shippers Group team as Vice-President of Operations. With more than 20 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, packaging, supply chain and transportation, Kristie will oversee all Atlanta operations.

The Shippers Group is proud to be amongst the top 50 dry warehouses in the U.S. according to Transport Topics. TSG was ranked 39th out of 119 companies in the dry storage category. The article states that TSG has a total of 4.5 million square feet in 11 warehouses facilities across the U.S.

The Shippers Group is excited to attend the Georgia Logistics Summit on April 9-12, 2018 at the Georgia World Conference Center. This year’s event is co-located with MODEX, the largest supply chain expo in North and South America.

Ray Mendoza was recently awarded our “Associate of the Year” for 2017 during a ceremony at our Wilmer, Texas facility. We began our Associate of the Month program last summer and from the monthly winners, we chose our Associate of the Year. “It was a pleasure and a lot of fun to be able to participate in the award ceremony for Ray and watch how his co-workers were happy for him to win the award”, said Rob Doyle President of The Shippers Group. “The hard working and dedicated Wilmer team played a role in Ray receiving the award based on the facility’s success in 2017 and Ray was quick to thank them for helping him win the award.”
