With profound sadness and shock, The Shippers Group announces that Ken Johnson, Owner and CEO, passed away on October 14th. Ken’s sudden death is the result of unexpected complications following a recent illness. The entire Shippers Group family mourns his loss, and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Ken’s family during this very difficult time.

President Rob Doyle hosted the first Town Hall Meeting of TSG's newest 122,000 sf facility in Mesquite, Texas. This multi-client distribution facility opened the doors on July 1, 2020 and employs 6 associates on 1 shift presently. With it being a small team and their first town hall meeting, Rob had an agenda of topics to cover prior to opening the floor.

To celebrate National Hispanic American Heritage Month, a few TSG associates were asked to share their heritage and the importance of this month. Today, we are featuring Melissa Sotomayor, General Manager at our Orlando facility.

Truck drivers are the heartbeat of our economy. Without truck drivers, supply chains are crippled. National Truck Driver Appreciation Week gives us a chance to recognize the importance of truck drivers and the time they sacrifice on the road to keep goods moving.
