In our May update, we mentioned how we are entering a new phase of the pandemic now that vaccines are widely available to anyone over the age of 12. The rate of vaccinated Americans has increased from just over 40% to 63% in the past 30 days. The Shippers Group is excited to announce the launch of its second Emerging Leaders Program!

As part of the The Shippers’ Group Leadership Academy, the Emerging Leaders Program was created on the premise that to lead others, you have to first be able to lead yourself. Kicking off in March, this year-long program is already underway and designed to focus on leadership development and team building. The nominated 10 associates will do a deep dive into personal and professional development with an emphasis on personal growth in a professional framework.

The Shippers Group has been providing updates throughout the COVID-19 pandemic beginning in March 2020 with the purpose of informing associates and customers about our response based on the latest information provided by the Centers of Disease Control. With vaccines available to anyone over the age of 16 and over 40% of Americans now vaccinated, we are entering into a new phase. As a result, The Shippers Group will move our updates from bi-weekly to monthly.
