Each year, The Shippers Group celebrates the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support our customers on a daily basis. Especially since the pandemic, our Customer Service Team has poured their time, energy, and compassion into the work of serving our customers. While we try each day to express our gratitude and appreciation, we set aside some time each year to celebrate the work they are doing and inspiring others to do.

Atlanta is known for many great things: its booming economy, several major league sports teams, many attractions – like the Georgia Aquarium, Zoo, and Fox Theatre – and its 3,000 acres of park and abundant tree coverage. Countervailing storylines created big challenges for 3PL warehouses during the pandemic. Attendees filled-to-capacity a session titled, “The Truth About the Labor Shortage for 3PL Warehouses” at CSCMP EDGE in Nashville, Tennessee where a panel of industry experts discussed the effects of the pandemic on the availability and characteristics of warehouse laborers and the future impact to supply chains. 

This year, we celebrate the 100^th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week (FPW)! Since 1922, the NFPA has sponsored the public observance of Fire Prevention Week to educate families, children, and adults on how to stay safe in case of a fire.
